A lberta and Newfoundland & Labra- dor have joined Nova Scotia as the only Canadian provinces allowing
the use of electronic pink slips by drivers. The news from Alberta dropped right at press time. Drivers in the province are now allowed to show electronic proof of auto insurance (EPAI) to law enforce- ment officers. The move was announced Aug. 12 as part of the province’s “red tape
reduction” initiative.
